• Leadership Experience: Founder and owner of www.secinsur.com. Formerly, the Chief Compliance Officer at The IMPACT Partnership, LLC – an insurance marketing organization. Other leadership roles, the former Chief Compliance Officer at Impact Partnership Wealth, LLC, former Chief Compliance Officer at Transamerica Financial Advisors, Inc, MAGV Securities, Inc, World Group Securities, Inc, PFS Investments Inc, Invest Financial Corporation, Investment Centers of America, Inc, NASD Financial Examiner – now known as FINRA, Florida State Department of Banking and Finance - Division of Securities Financial Examiner.

• Education and Affiliations: Derrick earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Florida State University (“FSU”) and has several licenses and affiliations, including the Series 24 exam & the Series 7 exam, the SIE Exam, FAA Remote Pilot, FAA Student Pilot, PADI Certified Scuba Diver and memberships in various professional organizations. He also has Combat Veteran military experience as a U.S. ARMY Forward Observer in Field Artillery having served in Operation Desert Shield, Operation Desert Storm, and FSU Army ROTC. Member Veterans of Foreign Wars (“VFW”) and The American Legion.
